dear gamestop.
 a women by the name sarah played me. id like you to send it to her. she played  me because i 
play rated m games and she said while i was with my mom"your dad said no more games.then when im with my dad she said"your mom said no more games for you. i was forced to buy racing games and no games she played me my dad and mom.no one can tell me or my family how to live our lives. everybody knows me at that store.and i was so close to getting mw3. but she didn't let me. sarah thinks she can tell me how to live my life. if she keeps on telling me what to do i will shop at gamefly or another gamestop. id like an apology from sarah to me my dad and mom.

Stupid kids

Ever think that maybe your mom gave the clerk "that look" that says "help me and say no"

i work at a restaurant, and when little kids want to order something ridiculous, parents will usually say "oh I'm no sure they have any cherry slush left" and myself or a fellow employee would take the message and play along. Thats what "serah" did. Secondly, Typical little kids and their CoD. Disgraceful to gaming. And finally, I doubt "mom" or "dad" we're present, or that story is most likely not how it went down. Looks like you'll have to dream about your corner-camping grenade-launcher slinging adventures until you're 17. Also, your story is unconstitutional. Your mom can't stop your dad from buying M games, and vice versa. Your parents obviously gave "serah" "that look" saying "don't sell my son this game."

Story not that believable

You stated that the people of that store know you. Lets look at this statement. I doubt this is the only employee that store has which you could come back another time to get the game.

Another statement is your with your mom and she said to you dad said no and vise versa. That employee would know who your parents are and your parents should know each other and if either one said no, the other would know.

With what you have said if your claim is just, you should have taken it up with the manager or sent a complaint to corporate. I don't know the laws exact from where you are but in my area, a employee has a right to refuse a customer of a sale with reason or no reason.

I will not insult another person like the other person did by making a comment about your education but what I have read is either a employee refused to sell you a game or you are a minor without proof of being 17 or older. Regardless if a employee request a customer to verify they are legal age to purchase anything, it is the customers responsibility to produce proof of legal age.

   Apparently, Sarah can.  She is truly the boss of you. :-))

   When you find that a clerk at a game store is telling you and your family how to run your lives, perhaps it is time to find a different hobby.   These games are apparently turning you and your family into mindless sheep (if your post is to be believed).

Gamestop and the ESRB

Gamestop can terminate any employee who: -sells an M-rated game to a minor (for any who don't know. M-rated games are for persons aged 17+) -sells an M-rated game to an adult other than a parent or legal guardian with the knowledge that the adult is acting as a proxy for a minor -sells an M-rated game to a parent or legal guardian without confirming that they understand the content of the game may not be suitable for persons under the age of 17 -fails to confirm the age of the customer buying the M-rated game.

My guess is that 'Sarah' is just covering her a*s because she knows that one or both parents don't want you playing M-Rated games, OP. However, if your attempt to purchase an M-rated title does not cause 'sarah' to violate any of the aforementioned rules and she still blocks you, then I can sympathize with your complaint. On the other hand, if your post is representative of your actual grasp of basic grammatical structure, then I think you should probably give up games for awhile entirely and refocus on your education.
