I recently decided to sell some characters on GameWar, although it seemed a bit sketchy to me I wasn't to worried and decided to start with an old Runescape character that I had forgotten about.

I sent them the info and watched my order status for the next few days, it said processing for a while and then went to "waiting queue" where my order has stayed for a week. They clearly state it will take less then a week, so I knew something was up.

The password on my character has been changed and I didn't receive any payment, It's not to bad cause it was only $30 anyways but I'm glad I didn't trust them with any of my good accounts. Anyone looking to sell an account should find a safer option.

Resolved Case - His Submission Was Denied

AUTHOR: Customer Support - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 13, 2011

This message is for Blunt,

Unfortunately, we didn't see this post until recently. Please note that we are currently not purchasing Runescape 2 Accounts except for Level 138's until October 15, 2011 due to overstock issues. On October 15, 2011, we will resume purchasing Level 130's and above. Until then, all account submissions have been denied. A notice was sent to you by e-mail already about this issue. Please check your spam/junk folder if you didn't receive it. We also have a notice about this on our news blog and facebook fan page.

In the meantime, our company didn't record or access your account during this process. While we apologize that you maybe having issues, I would suggest recovering your password if you're having issues logging in with the link we provided below:
http://www.runescape.com/loginapplet/loginapplet.ws?mod=accountappeal&dest=beginappeal.ws

Being that we don't have your account recovery questions, then it would be impossible for us to scam you as you claim we did as you can easily reset the password. Since you didn't provide these to us, then there is no way we could have done what you said we did.

Until we hear back from you, we will assume this issue was already resolved as you didn't provide any information for us to assist you.

You may also contact us with the below links or contact customer support for immediate assistance as it could take sometime to get back with you here
