I live in New Jersey and I needed torsion springs for my garage door because one broke. The door is double wide and weighs 120 pounds. Everybody in the family uses this door to get in and out of the house, including the kids by way of the control panel. Getting this door fixed in a timely fasion was as important as price.
After shopping around on the internet and checking prices and locations I decided to place an order with garage door nation. Their home page said that they shipped out of Ohio or California depending on the shipping address. It also said 3 days, but 3-5 is not unusual. I have purchased many things shipped out of ohio and it never takes more then 3 days. So I purchased them from garage door nation over a couple of east coast companies because their price was a little better.
Two days and 1 e-mail to their tech support dept later they have finally been shipped. They shipped them out of CALIFORNIA!! How does OHIO become California?? So guess what, you can't get much further away from NJ, I will not have them for ANOTHER 5 days!! So now I am without the use of this door for over a week. Garage door nation blatently misled me on where my parts would ship from. If it was unintentional how come nobody contacted me?
DO NOT do business with GARAGE DOOR NATION.

I understand the frustration of waiting longer but I wouldn't cut off a companies business because they shipped from a different site.
My question is, were the parts good quality? How was the installation?
