Genesis Media Labs Total scam!! Nationwide

I am actually writing this for my Dad. He is a truck driver and was in Colorado. He went to a truck stop and as he was about to walk in a man stopped him trying to sell the surround sound speakers for $600. They told my dad that they work for the company and install them in homes and that day the boss had given them too many but they weren't allowed to return them to work so they were selling it and splitting the money.

My dad looked at it and asked how much it was actually worth and the guy told him it was worth $2000 and he gave my dad a website that he could go look at to check it out. My dad went to the website (genesismedialab.com) and it did say it was worth $2000. My dad went back and talked to him and talked him down to $200.

My dad returned to his truck and was opening up and looking at it and noticed there were no directions. He called me wanting me to order directions from the company since you can do that with most items. I got online to look and noticed that there was a scam alert on the genesis speakers. I went still proceeded to their website thinking that there was no way it could have happened to my dad, but on their website there is no phone number to contact them.

There is an e-mail and fax number but you never get a response from them. Now that I've read other people's stories, I know for a fact it was a scam. I also found out that these speakers aren't worth much..about $50 at the most.
