George Grover is still at it.  He 100% lies in his sales pitch.  Basically he got me at a bank.  My receiver had just died so I guess I was just asking to be ripped off.  My speakers are half kaput/dirty as well so it seemed good to get a set.  Compared to what I originally paid for the equipment I was getting a deal.

So he says he has left over home theatre equipment and wants to sell it so he does not have to share it with his partner.  His current pitch is he bought 10 and got a set free.  I just knew this was too good to be true.  I looked it up on ebay and found the lowest priced ones and went $50 to $100 below that.  So I bought a receiver/speakers to replace what I had at home.  Then I bought another set to sell to pay for the one I was keeping.  I am dumb.  So that was $200 + $200 for the 5.1 home theatre system.  I paid more than that for just my last receiver that went kaput.

Then I paid $300 more for the projector and screen.  Mine was $1k and it has one small dot that appears so I figured if I ever had to replace it the $300 would not be too much plus the specs on this with the 1080p 45,000 to 1 contrast and 3d with 3d glasses is technically better than what I bought.

He is also very prepared to handle any objections.  1 year warranty.  He's a regular business.  Gives an invoice.  From other reports has a business license.  No sales take on my invoice but maybe he absorbs it?  Maybe he could be turned in on sales taxes.  I'm not sure what you can get a con artist for these days.  I did agree to buy it.  Buyer beware.  I'm just dumb.

The problem is on every review of the products I find they get 1 out of 5 stars and I'll just go ahead and say it is junk.  So I'm out $700 for junk.  I've read reports that the projector does not focus well and the speakers don't work. 

George of course says they are work $3,000 each, then $1,100 on ebay or $500.  By the time I had him down to $200 or $300 I figured I was at a decent price.  $700 for junk.

Has anyone figured out a way to press charges against this person?  Multiple people including myself have fallen for this.  For the sake of others I wish he would be stopped.  I was going to put the word out on him but I guess that is pointless becuase the word is already out.  He's still going though.
