I work for a telemarketing company that sells corporate phone directories, first aid kits, interac paper rolls, interac machines, and other interac machine accesories. The sales people use a no pressure sales technique, by speaking as if you simply need to renew a subscription/order. They have very few established accounts. For the first aid kits they claim that it is illegal for a business to run without one, and hint that the call is governmental. (without ever directly saying so)
After the process is repeated with a verifications employee, an invoice is sent. It is at this point that clients usually realise that a scam has taken place. The directory can cost up to 300$, the first aid kit 200$ etc. (The telephone directory only lists and mails to companies that have paid for it)
If a client refuses to pay the bullshit invoice then they are contacted by an employee from the collection department. The employee is NOT a credit agent, or calling from a collection agency. THEY HAVE ABOLUTELY NO AUTHORITY OVER YOUR CREDIT. They will hint at having this authority but they don't. DO NOT PAY THEM. Whether you have received the merchandise or not, do not pay. They will not send it to a collection agency because it is a scam, and they are not collection agents.

This company makes calls to the UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Canada and the US. Please beware and never pay a bill to any of the companies listed herein. George Haligua drives a beautiful Ferrari and a Bentley on the weekends because people pay their bills to his scammy companies.

They are still here! This company was shut down for a short period of time and some of it's administrators were detained by the police for 2 to 3 days after having made countless fraudulent sales in the U.S., England, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Costa Rica and Canada. The owner of the company has had dealings with mafia and was once shot in the knees. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks.
This is a fraudulent telemarketing company owned by George Haligua and Amelia Difalco. Any claims they make that you must pay your bill is a lie. They have no control over your credit and no connections to collection agencies.
I worked for this company and I know for a fact that they have no legal basis to force you to pay your bill seeing as how their sales tactics are completely illegal.
Take the phone directory they sold you and throw it in the garbage. Take the rolls of paper they sold you and throw them in the garbage. Take the med kit they sold you and throw it in the garbage. Now screen your calls and ignore them, there is nothing else that needs to be done.
If anyone from that company named Eric, Colin or Anthony claims that they are a lawyer, they are lying. The collections agents in that company are encouraged to frighten and lie to customers in order to get paid.
Eric is the highest manager in the company who also owns a large share of stocks, Amelia/Emily Difalco is a secondary owner and George Haligua is the primary owner. They are very rich and don't care if they push your small business to bankruptcy which they have done many times before. Mostly pubs and restaurants in Ireland and England. Please contact the police immediately if they call you, there is no reason to deal directly with them because they will lie and manipulate.
Just hang up, don't answer when they call back and notify the police and/or your lawyer right now.
