I went to a Rent-to-Own home site which required that you get your credit score. I began filling out the form but, I never completed it because I already know my credit score. I exited the site without completing my information. They must be in cohorts with Rent-To -Own.com because I did enter my information there. They charged me a dollar but, the site did not show ANY rent-to-own homes so I canceled my membership the same day. They do not offer refunds for not delivering what they promised. However, I never authorized the use of my card by this other company. My bank is also launching an investigation into this fraudulent activity. I want them to cease and desist. I also want my dollar back since they took it illegally.

Keep an eye out for further charges to your account

I don't know anything about the company you mention. The reason I say to keep an eye out for further charges is because it is common to see a small $1 charge first and then a much larger continuing charge monthly thereafter. These subscription type companies are everywhere now. They count on you not reading the terms and conditions and this particular company sounds like it goes even further by charging your cc without your specific authorization. Also, file a complaint with the CFPB right away.
If I were in your shoes, I would be very proactive and cancel further charges with the company - even if you didn't sign up with them. You may even want to consider cancelling the debit card and getting a new one with your bank to prevent further charges.
