GGW Video ripoff we got taken, too. ripoff thieves Hollywood, Los Angeles, California

We ordered the GGW "2-fer" special for $9.99, only to receive a statement from our bank that GGW Video had charged us an additional $24.99...look close at the TV ad. It says that "You'll preview other videos...for only $19.99 + Shipping & Handling". No one ever explained on the phone that they would do that automatically.

We called immediately, and after several phone numbers, and customer service reps., one of them told us we had to notify them that we didn't want any more videos. I told them that I didn't want the one I had already been charged for, but 10 days later it arrived. We sent it back, as "Refused", so WE wouldn't have to pay additional S/H. I don't know if they would ever cancel the video based on other reports.

We also cancelled our debit card, so that they can't do it to us again. We've never received a refund. I contacted the Federal Trade Commission...(The ones who got rid of Miss Cleo!)
