I am also a victim of Gibson Trust, Inc. I have been paying the every month for 5 months. I found out today, Gibson Trust's REAL COLORS. I have been put on a "Manager's Call List" twice. the manager did call back once, but he called my home phone while I was at work after I specifically asked them to call my work.
He left a message telling me to call back to customer service and someone would be able to help. YEAH RIGHT! Regardless of what I say, they tell me "I dont have an answer to your questions, I can put you on our Manager's Call Back List". In the meantime, I am now in $1200.00 more than I was before I started with Gibson Trust, Inc.
I had pretty good credit up until this point, I paid my bills on time, and paid my bills every month. I was eager to start on my road of being debt free and now I am in even more debt and I have bad credit to go along with it. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Burea of Southeaast Florida and I am awaiting their response. I am competely devastated.....these past 5 months has ruined my credit history forever. I do not know what else to do. How do I get my money back?

This Martha Allen you talk about is the mother of Bernie, and Tommy. Bernie is the new president of the center for credit counselling in deerfield beach fl. check info on sunbiz.org he was also the janitor for Gibson Trust. These nice allen boys are the nephews of Donna Canty O'toole. Another person you may want to talk to is Dashia Trowers past Atty. for the company, or Mike Kupferman aka Mike K., how about the Federal Trade Commission. Do your homework and you'll win. Good Luck

Since October I have found out that there is absolutely nothing I can do to get my money back. I have spoke with 6 attorneys and all of them tell me that they will not touch my case becasue the chances of collecting are slim to none.
I have also looked into Small Claims Court, but I would have to invest about $200.00 more dollars and make the 11 hour trip to Florida in order to go to court.
Even if I got a judgement, small claims court does not guarantee payment. So I have wrote a letter and sent my evidence to the Flordia Attorney General's Office, awaiting their response and I am sending emails to 60 minutes, 20/20, Dateline, and about 5 newspapers in Florida (Sun-Senteniel).
My suggestion is that you do the same, if enough of us send letters, someone is bound to listen. I have also done some investigating on the owner's & Officers of the company's. I tried to contact Patrick O'Toole (president) but him number does not take incoming calls. But I did get the phone number for Timothy Setterlund (he filed Gibson Trust, Inc with the Secretary of State's Office) Give him a call, I did, and guess what he does not want to talk to me: 1-561-470-9635.
Also, I spoke with Martha Allen who was added as an officer to their company in May 2002. Her number is 1-770-947-3729. When I called Ms. Allen I asked to speak with "Ms. Allen that works with Gisbon Trust, Inc." and replied, "that's me, I can help you". As soon as I told her that I have been unable to get through to the company and inquire about the money that Gibson Trust, Inc. has fraudulently taken from me. She quickly replied "Im sorry, I can't help you" and then she denied working for the company.
Give her a call, and see if she can help you! I will keep you posted! GIVE THEM A CALL!
