Gibson Trust Inc. rip off scam artist liars thieves and Dirty s****.>

We like everyone else feels stupid and used. We began with Gibson Untrusted in April of 2001. Everything was fine at first and then in August of 2001 they missed a couple months of payments.

We began calling and everytime we were placed on hold for long periods of time and everyone we talked to was unprofessional and had no information. We could not believe that this company acted in this manner. We decided to stay with them as they had possession of the first months payment and we did not want to lose it. We stayed on them day in and day out and eventually everything started flowing smoothly again.

Then in October of this year we noticed that they had not taken our money out of our checking account. We contacted Gibson and threatened legal action and were immediately contacted by their quality assurance division and a man named Jim Faust. Mr. Faust made several promises and actually did come through on getting one of our creditors to remove some late fees and penalties that Gibson Trust had caused us to accrue. He stated that ACH was doing an upgrade and they would no longer be able to take our money that way. We then sent them our monthly payment at the beginning of November. While speaking with Mr. Faust I asked him if Gibson Trust had ever been sued or had an investigation conducted on their business practices and Mr. Faust became very nervous and defensive.

Last week we called to see if our payments had been sent out and the phone just keeps rolling over, E-mails are sent back as undeliverable.

Since this has happened I've done a little investigating and I beleive the owners of Gibson Trust Patrick and Donna O'Toole have moved on to another scam at a business called Center for Credit Counseling the phone number is 954-312-1166, call this number and tell me if this answering system is not exactly the same as Gibson Trusts. I have also learned that their lawyer is Timothy Setterlund with a telephone number of 561-470-9635 and one of their board members is Martha Allen with a telephone number of 770-947-3729.

We need to stick together and see that something is done. E-mail any media outlet you can such as 60 minutes, 20/20, Dateline Etc. The Florida Attorney's General office is conducting an investigation and anyone who has been ripped off needs to call them at 954-712-4600 and speak with Shana Sokoff.
