I decided to be Columbo and call Norstar to see what they are all about. I gave my Gibson Trust account number just for kicks but it was invalid. I spoke to Maggie about my issue with them and asked if they were formally Gibson Trust, aka Goldstar Financial. She said they were not and I mentioned that their website told me that. Running with the addresses of the two businesses on Mapquest, I found they are 3.5 miles away from each other. I encourage all interested to checkout Norstar's website and call them. The website is identical to Gibson's. When you call, press (4) which is for creditors calling them and you will get right through.
