Gibson Trust the ripoff debt consolidation company Pompano Beach Florida

We entered the Gibson Trust Debt Consolidation Program in August 2002. Gregory, our debt counselor was very friendly and helpful in getting us into the program. Gregory stated that they would keep the first months payment in a savings account until we completed the 50 month debt free program that they established for us, and stated that our payments would begin going towards the debt starting on the second payment.

September 2002 we received some letters from creditors stating that they had accepted the proposal that Gibson Trust submitted to them. We received at that time a statement for September's money dispersements to our creditors with check numbers and amounts paid to them. Everything seemed to be ok up to that point.

October 2002 we were still receiving calls from our creditors stating that they had not received any money. We shared this information with each of out creditors but all of them stated that they had not received any funds from Gibson Trust on our behalf. At that point we made attempted to make contact many times with our counselor Gregory through phone and email.

We finally made contact with Gibson Trust through their customer service number and the service representatives stated that this is a normal problem with large corporations because it takes several months for our payments to make it to the various collection departments of our creditors.

I requested moneys be traced so this problem would get ironed out and our creditors would be satisfied. Gibson Trust told me that this process would take up to 30 days to be completed but most likely would be resolved within 10 business days.

November 2002 I am still receiving collection notices from each of my creditors stating that they have not received any funds since our last payment in July 2002. I have been trying to contact Gibson trust all month but all I get is a answering machine that just takes you around through to the service rep back to the operator. Up to this date we have lost a total of $ 2,112.00 to this company.

I wish we would have never came across them. They have stolen our money and help further ruin our credit. I hope we can all come togther, and file a cassation suite against Gibson Trust Inc, for their embezelment of all the fund we have intrusted them with..
