Gladstone Brown stole $45,000 from me in a fake real estate transaction which involved the purchase of an apartment complex. I was told I would be investing the money to help pay for half of the appraisal costs, surveys, etc. and Gladstone and MEC holdings would pay the other half ($45,000). I learned later that these appraisals and surveys never existed and neither did anything else regarding the purchase of the apartments.
Gladstone is very good at deception as you can see in his rebuttal to the previous victim. This is very typical and I appreciate Gladstone giving an example of his tactics. Lots of big terminology and stuff that sounds factual like court case numbers and such. Sounds good right.....its all lies.
Gladstone presents himself as a very experienced real estate investor and businessman but please beware because he is only experienced at being a con artist. Through some investigating, I have learned that there are numerous other victims of Gladstone's fraud tactics.

Here we are 2 years later from the initial filing of this report the complainant has not responded to efforts by my self or legal consul to resolve the issue he filed this report concerning MEC and my self would like very much so like to resolve this matter so that this information can be corrected.
The Internet has become an important social media tool, empowering people to speak their minds whenever, however and wherever they want through blogging, chat rooms, video sharing and other tools. Its in these online forums like Ripoff Report, where people are free to voice their complaints and grievances against businesses and persons they feel have wronged them in some way. Whether complaints are justified or not, weather that information is correct or not I was taught at a early age that there are three sides to a story yours, mines and the truth.

Darren and any others that feel that I Gladstone Brown, MEC Private Holdings Cos., or any other unit of the MEC family of Companies has cause and harm or committed some type of fraud against you personally or any company you may own. First and foremost I'm not a theft it is true that me and Darren enter in to a partnership agreement to attempt to purchase an apartment complex, anyone who has attempted this type of transaction can attested that it can be a simple process or complicated As a business person all we can do is give it our best and hope for a good outcome. Sometimes there is not a good ending I my self and a attorney retained by the partnership offer Darren a resolution, that offer is still on the table my telephone number and mailing address is still the same as when we enter into the partnership and you may contact me at anytime to discuss and detail or with any questions you may have. As a business man and personally I try my hardest to make anything type of issue that may come up right, weather I'm wrong or right i live by this rule.
