GLOBAL MONETARY FUND Samuel, Jones & Brown They are trying to scam my 80 year old neighbor - she was convinced she had won 3 million dollars Forest Hills New York

I am filing this complaint on behalf of my elderly neighbor;

My poor 80 year old neighbor!! - She called me to tell me she had won 3 million dollars - she and her husband were arguing because he said it was a scam.

So she wanted my help as she couldn't find a phone number on these papers this 'Samuel, Jones & Brown' had sent her  - Thank God as I'm sure they would have convinced her.

They wanted $20.00 - I told her if she won a real contest she wouldn't have to pay anything - I told her I would do some checking as I was sure it was a scam and discovered the whole '419 Advanced Fee Scam'.

I printed out some information on it so she could educate herself. She never sent 'Samuel, Jones & Brown' any money but she has sent these other so-called companies money.

She could not even tell me how much money she has sent these criminals. So I am sure she is feeling rather low - she told me she had a stack of these type pieces of mail - I do believe she is going to turn them into the Post Office.

I doubt she'll ever be able to recoup any of her money but at least now she knows the truth and can educate others.

In this day of nearly everything online - there is still the Postal Service and if these criminal can't get to you online then they will try and invade your home

We need to watch out for our elderly population and others who these people have no problem taking advantage of.
