We were taken in by the scam. We sat through a high pressured presentation. They even had a little contest where we won a 3 day stay at a hotel with no purchase necessary along with our 2 free airline tickets.

We tried getting the hotel stay and airline tickets. The airline tickets had so many hoops that we were asked to jump through and so many limitations that after we had sent them our refundable deposit we wrote a letter canceling the free tickets. We followed the instructions on the form but have not received our deposit yet. This was 4 months ago. We also tried getting the 3 day hotel stay and did everything that we needed to so. We put in our 3 dates. It wasn't until after our first choice date did we receive the letter stating that our first date was unavailable. I need to give at least a few days notice when I am going to have to take out work.

Our income has been reduced since we signed the contract. We can no longer afford the monthly payment. We tried calling the company canceling the contract but they said sorry we couldn't do it.

I don't know where else to turn. Has anyone had any luck with getting their contract canceled after the 72 hours?
