Global Travel International they try to charge me 170 to cancel my membership ripoff Maitland Florida

When i sign up on november 11, 2006 by a customer service. I paid a year in advance, but didnt not know that it will automatically renew. If he had told me that on the phone i would never sign up because i do not like things that are automatically renew without my knowledge. My husband open up the mail and told me about that they are sending this 299 to a debt collection. I never sign any contract with them. ALl they told me was on the phone that i should of read it. Wow I dont read fine print on the internet since i figure the customer service who took my credit card should inform me.

Now I ask them to cancel my membership but they denied canceling unless i give them 170.00 dollars. I told them I do not want it to renew next year since I am a busy house wife and this should be optional to agent if they want to be a agent.

They were threaten me that if i didnt pay this 299.00 that they will send it to debt collection.

This giving me heart ache waste of time, and why cant they cancel why do i have to wait til december 2007 to cancel.

THis is so unbelievable insane.
