Globe Van Lines Liars, Fraud & Non-Disclosure of Costs encino California

When the movers arrived at my home, they could not find any paperwork for the job. Halfway through loading my stuff, they suddenly found the paperwork and showed me a list of material costs I was responsible for. After my stuff was loaded on the truck, they informed me I would also have to pay for labor.

I had a 1 bedroom apt. and it conveniently took them 4 hours to load my stuff (I already had everything packed). Globe Van Lines never disclosed these costs to me, either verbally or in writing. They then proceeded to hold my belongings in a warehouse and inform me they were actually in transit. This went on for weeks (and cost me massive hotel costs). I was lied to every time I called about where my belongings were. I finally brought in an attorney and they lied to him, too.

They frequently did not return calls and could rarely tell me where my belongings were while in transit. I was told my items would arrive in 7-10 days (they were picked up Dec. 2). I didn't receive them until December 29.
