Glory Ridge Shih Tzus By Karen Deangelo sold me a puppy shih tzu with a genetic kidney ailment ailment is fatal Richmond Missouri

this is a warning to everyone. DO NOT buy a shih tzu puppy from glory ridge. Karen Deangelo sold a shih tzu puppy to my wife and myself for $800.00. We thought we were getting a healthy puppy like her website states. She promises her puppies do not have any genetic defects and that all her dogs have been with her for 4 to 5 generations. All this is a lie. When we first got our dog(my first dog ever) we noticed he was drinking alot of water and so we called Karen and asked her about his water intake. She told us "not to worry...these dogs play hard so they will drink alot of water."

This was such bad advise. the first sign of kidney problems is excessive water intake. If she really has been doing this since 1986 you would have thought she would have told us to take him to the vet just to be on the safe side. I believe karen knew of this problem. I believe she did not want us to go to the vet because she did not want to refund our money. I don't care about the money. I just would of liked to know about this disease so i could have slowed down the progression. My dog is dying and there is nothing i can do about it.

We have come to find out from Karen deangelo that my dogs mother was purchased from the philippines and that she never performed the necessary DNA testing that all responsible breeders should do on the dogs they plan on breeding. This is very important to Know. the test only cost $140.00. It is not worth buying a dog from her for the kind of money we paid just so you can fall in love with it and watch it die before your eyes. I know that dogs will get sick and die but the only thing i ask for honesty. she knew my puppy was sick. the first thing i read about on shih tzu health was genetic kidney problems and the first sign is water intake. please do not buy a dog from her!!!!!!!
