Go mobile direct (GMD group) charges a large fee for services that it renders in a very unprofessional manner.
If you are considering entering the cell phone business, contact American Wireless or Cell Gate USA.
They do for no charge what go mobile direct charges a huge fee for.

President of GMD group Anthony Roman has the attitude that if you don't like receiving the worst imaginable
customer service known to man that you should shut up and go away, and be happy you had the honor of giving him money.

Go mobile direct is an absolute sham of a company. Contact American Wireless or Cell Gate USA and take
a Vegas vacation with the money you will save!

Go Mobile Direct recommended

i signed up with go mobile direct in the last 6 months and I was nervous when I first hired them but it has been the best decision I have made.  They have been a joy to work with, I have made more money in this cell phone business then I had anticipated. their marketing programs have been responsible for over 400 new customers since I have opened.  Can't complain at all and I would definitely recommend them.  -

Existing Go Mobile Direct Dealer

my name is Doug Winston I am a go mobile direct dealer in charlotte nc.  I am posting this in defense of Mr. Roman and the guys over at go mobile.  I have been a dealer with them since August of 2009, i own an internet advertising company and promote the bill pay and smart phone services to my media clients.  I personally haven't had any issues, I got my portal in 2 days after I paid, i did have some installations issues but when I had contacted anthony i had received a quick response and he had did some remote connection thingy and did the installation on my computer for me.  their smartphone selection is deep, I also have an american wireless account and i can't access no where near the amount of smartphones from them as gomobile had and they didn't have anything other than some boost stuff which the pay on those is fairly low.  I dont know what else to say other than I would recommend them and im sorry for the person on this thread that didnt get the support they needed to make it work.  anyone reading this can contact me for comment at Echappeparisse@yahoo.com and i would happy provide a referral  - Doug W.

We did receive an email from GMD group regarding the agent portal instructing us to
"fallow" the link in the mail to set up our portal from an employee named Luis. There
was no link to follow. We replied to GMD group by email and by phone to Luis, he
merely sent us a copy of the same defective mail. We also left messages for Virgil at
GMD which were ignored, and told another employee, Curtis, that we did not have
instructions that allowed us to get our portal going, all with NO RESULTS.
If you want a copy of the defective work this company puts out, we can forward that
mail to anyone. Just request it at salemcats@comcast.net with a subject line "GMD sham".
Can Mr. Romans produce one shred of evidence to the contrary? NO.
We finally received proper instructions from Mr. Romans himself, only after 70 days,
after we made several demands for refund.
THE MOST INTERESTING THING HERE? Nowhere does Mr. Romans deny he charges $3995
for what American Wireless will do for free.
American Wireless had us up and going in three days, we could not be happier with them!
Mr. Romans apparently has promoted himself to judge status with a line like "case closed".
That is funny, most judges consider evidence first. We have evidence, he does not!

This customer paid for a carrier portal, their carrier portal was set up in 3 days, sends me an email 2 months later which I promptly responded to, and there is nothing more.  Case closed!

Regarding the rebuttal

If you look at the dates between the report and rebuttal you will see it took them 18 days to make a rebuttal. That is speedy action for GMD group, trust me. The rebuttal is the same vague lack of specifics that GMD is famous for.
We can document all of the following, and invite GMD to prove otherwise.

1. To set up our dealer portal, it took GMD group 70 days to get us anything functional. It takes other master agents less than a week for no fee.
2. To get action from GMD group it took 12 unreturned phone calls, 5 ignored text messages, 4 ignored emails. WE HAVE records for all of this, and GMD group has nothing that can refute it. Anthony Roman is living the high life on fees collected from his internet sham of a company.

not a fair complaint considering the fact that this customer purchased product, did not use the product, waited 2-3 months to request a refund, then when denied the refund suddenly we are blamed for being a "sham of a company".  We have many referrals we would be happy to provide about our services, and if any prospective customers would like more information in regards to this thread feel free to contact us directly at (562) 505-6086.
