I HIT A 25 CENT SLOT MACHINE FOR 2000.00 AT THE GOLDEN CASINO.COM. AFTER SENDING A COPY OF DOCUMENTS THEY REQUESTED, MORE THAN 5 TIME, BECAUSE THEY WOULD SAY SOMETHING WAS TO BLURRY AND THEY WASNT ABLE TO READ IT. IT STATES AND I WAS TOLD THAT AFTER THEY RECIEVED MY DOCUMENTS, I WOULD RECIEVE MY MONEY WITHIN 72 HOURS, IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 3 WEEKS NOW AND I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING THEM AND I CANT GET A RESPONSE FOR ANYONE.

Just slightly off subject.........

AUTHOR: Adolph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 17, 2008

....but this complaint brings to mind something that has always puzzled me. There are monetary 'online poker games'. This strikes me as the ultimate dumb-a$$ deal. It would be compared with a table poker game where a player was obliged to show all other players their hand before any bets were made or called.
.
The web site obviously has complete control of the outcome of all games. After all, they 'delt' you your hand. D'oh! Who's going to win? (a rhetorical question, of course)

Law?

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 17, 2008

There really is no applicable law, because the consumer is in one state, the transaction is made in another state (via the credit card), and the gaming is conducted in another country.

So unfortunately, there's not a heck of a lot you can do other than lodge internet complaints.

Best regards!

internet gaming law

AUTHOR: Jenn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 23, 2008

This is just false about being reported for internet gambling....the 2006 legislation is hazy and only a handful of states (11) have specific laws banning the gaming. The credit card issuers are suppose to block the transactions if they wont allow...one of my banks said and i quote "we dont care what you spend your money on. we see internet gaming transaction all the time. it is not a crime." The casinos are getting smarter and not using gaming codes to get around the charges THEY are breaking the law.

You were breaking Federal Law.

AUTHOR: Rocky - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, November 24, 2007

Why should you get paid? Congress made it illegal to use credit cards to play on-line gaming. You were breaking Federal law. Were you really planning to report those illegal winnings on your Federal income tax returns?

Let this be a lesson to you.

#4 Consumer Suggestion

You're out of luck if they won't pay

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, November 24, 2007

If you read the TOS, you will see they don't have to pay you if they don't want to. Why you ask? Read item 11. vi.

11.The Company reserves the right to cancel your account for any reason whatsoever at any time without notice to you. Any balance in your account at the time of such cancellation will be credited to your credit card and/or sent to you by check. However, the Company reserves the right, in its unfettered discretion, to void any winnings and confiscate any balance in your Casino account in any of the following circumstances:

i.If you have more than one active account for the Casino;

ii.If the name on your Casino account does not match the name on the credit card(s) used to make purchases on your Casino account;

iii.If you participate in a Casino promotion and withdraw before fulfilling the requirements of that particular promotion;

iv.If you provide incorrect or misleading registration information;

v.If you are not of legal age;

vi.If you reside in a jurisdiction where participation in the Game is prohibited by law;

vii.If you have allowed or permitted (intentionally or unintentionally) someone else to play on your Casino account;

viii.If you have not played at the Casino on an individual basis for personal entertainment only (that is, you have played in a professional sense or in concert with other player(s) as part of a club, group, etc.);

ix.If you have 'charged back' any of the purchases made with your credit card on your Casino account;

x.If you are found cheating or if it is determined by the Company that you have employed or made use of a system (including machines, computers, software or other automated systems) designed specifically to defeat the Casino; OR

xi.If the Company should become aware that you have played at any other on-line casino under any of the circumstances set out at i) to x) above.

You have little to no recourse to collect. Congress made it ILLEGAL to engage in casino games on-line from any location in the US. The only exception is playing poker. FYI Golden Casino is based in Curacao.

It would be nice if they would pay you, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for your winnings.
