Golden Clearing House Sweepstake SCAM Mailed award check of 2,250.00 to cover accounting and clearance fees in order for me to claim my prize.I looked up the addresses for the businesses listed on the check (located in the US) and they are correct but the phone number for you to call is in Canada. 5145615003 SCAM Abingdon Virginia

Golden Clearing House Sweepstake sent me an award notification certificate in the form of a typed letter. The letter states, I won 68,000.00 divided by 4 from the total prize of 408,000.00. I should call 514-561-5003 as soon as I receive the check to expedite the process. All prize money must be collected before Dec 24, 2008. This scam is hiding behind legite companies: Wells Fargo a well know bank is listed on the check. Old World Industries, INC is listed on the check as the issuer; they are a global corporation that markets performance automotive products. The sub company titled on the letter is Publishers clearing house readers digest sweepstakes. This is a scam. Please do not deposit this bogus check in your account.
