Golds Gym liars, money hungry, selfish, do not care about their customers peoria, Illinois

first of all i signed up in jaunary and the membership fee was free since it was a new years special that was their way of getting people to get sucked into their money hungry company to get all the money they can out of people. ive had the same trouble with gyms before and Golds promised me they were not like the other gyms and wouldnt do be bogus like everyone else. well guess what they did and lied to me about it. My knee was acting up so i put my account on hold for a few months until i could get MRIs and get it all figured out so i wouldnt strain it further. i asked if they would call or send me a letter in the mail when i was about due to freeze further or come in and reactivate my account. No one ever did such thing and i guess since july they have been over charging me for fee after fee and not once was i ever notified for such charges or that my account was still active ( the account used never had money in it so they charged late fees since july) its now october and i "owe" golds gym $675 dollars... no way does that add up from 4 months ago. i refuse to pay this since i have not been using their services and i have not once been notified that my account was reactivated without my permission. if i would have known they were going to do this to me, i would have counted my losses and payed the $150 cancellation fee and just left that stupid place.. i will not ever go back there which sucks because they classes were great! just the way they run things behind closed doors ruined it for me and its going to ruin my credit and my wallet now. thanks golds gym. your no better than the local cheap gym down the street.
