It is estimated that false physician investigations, suspensions, kangaroo- court Hearings, and disciplines of physicians in Ohio have cost the State of Ohio at least $20 million plus in the last 20 years at least = Ohio has a national reputation for this state fund wasting at the Medical Board level. And the Medical Board in Ohio has new offices. This is waste that no other state can afford to ask for Federal bailout funds for - to pay for the hierarchy at the State Medical Board of Ohio. President Obama should ask where the money is going in Ohio - as the taxpayers can't.

Cases at the State Medical Board of Ohio can go on for 10-20 years - because the physician can't get the 'confidential' file of what the case is about - and the cases are less and less about patient care, and more and more about not going along and making any waves (which new medical care paradigms do, ie make waves).

Physicians in Ohio can get their medical licenses suspended with no patient complaints, no provable drug or alcohol problems, and no CME problems - just that they objected 'too much' to the wrong care and a bad result that only happens in Ohio that they had a personality which didn't gel with the status quo in Ohio, a personality that notices things not done well, notices the complications, morbidities and mortalities = what medical training is about.

The Members of the Ohio Board are outdated in training & skills, into third trimester suck-the-neonatal-brain-out-abortions, not into women's preventative medical care (unplanned pregnancy or otherwise), and are re-appointed unendingly with no term limits or oversight. It's not a good situation when Members are there for 20 years of appointment.

And there are so many false physician cases, where physicians are suspended for objecting to the wrong outdated medical care of themselves even, that the Ohio legislature won't make a law to open the confidential' physician files so that physicians can get any complaints in their file at the State Medical Board of Ohio (as at most other State Medical Boards) - and defend themselves. In Ohio that's being 'defensive,' and the Ohio Medical Board makes that an 'impairment' to practice. This makes getting malpractice and hospital privileges difficult and pricey in Ohio - no one knows the facts even the physicians.

It has been a no-brainer known' problem, since Larry Householder's time at least, that opening of these confidential' files at the State Medical Board of Ohio will immediately inundate Ohio with suits against the Board for false investigations, actions, and damages many of them for entirely legitimate damages [Brett Buerck] and abuses. Physicians can't defend themselves from the State Medical Board of Ohio. There's a big administrative malpractice problem at the State Medical Board of Ohio which is only getting bigger in 2009.

The Members of the State Medical Board don't include anyone from The Cleveland Clinic where the proposed hospital tax would hit' the most heavily as the largest employer in the NE Ohio Cleveland area so the Cleveland Clinic can't defend its medical staff against false investigation, but will pay the heaviest tax burden for this unrequested service why they are outsourcing to Florida. Governor Strickland appoints no Cleveland Clinic physicians to the State Medical Board, but expects the Cleveland Clinic to pay the largest proportion of the proposed 'hospital tax.'

Currently physicians in Ohio can get their medical license suspended for disagreeing about admittedly bad' care, boys being boys' care, less than satisfactory (suable in other states) care, outdated care, etc., for daring to complain if they can't get their own medical records (after a law firm has tried), or for complaining that they couldn't get care-to-function as in every other state = 'making too much' of admittedly bad Ohio medical care. The list of reasons for physician 'impairment' is endless - nothing to do with current Ohio law.

Medical licenses in Ohio are taken prophylactically-speaking for being a bad patient' not wanting to go along with the boys' bad care, bad results, experimental casts, non-sensical surgeries and referrals to the right' physicians with friends' on the State Medical Board of Ohio.

A woman physician in Ohio has an unenviable choice to either let the bad care go,' or lose her medical license and hospital privileges. You either let 'go,' or be ordered to unending psychiatric 'goes' at your 'target' personality.

It's a boys club' in Columbus; any woman appointed there takes her daily dose of testosterone and suddenly starts spouting male-speak, ie Anita Steinbergh DO is into Oslerian 'aequanimitas' as the solution to every 'bad boy' behavior and the ubiquitous 'dirty sex talk.' 'Antiseptic' physician's offices and ORs are not the rule in Ohio - much of the practice of medicine is explicit without the iTunes warning before you buy into or purchase the services.

The women physicians fare the most badly in this fray. Calling the ridiculous constituent services help line will not get you any sane help, though you are welcome to try: (614) 644-4357 - it's a 'black hole' of a Strickland solution.

Where's the money? Before Governor Strickland raids any funds, or gets his hospital tax, the taxpayers have a right' to know where the money is going and it is not going to disability or unemployment that's a relatively new siphoning off.

The State Medical Board of Ohio needs to give some accounting of the prophylactic suspensions - for a physician being a bad patient' - when there are so many medical mistakes in Ohio and no mistake laws' - and how much the tabling of these innocent-in-any-other-state physicians has cost Ohio.

The medical mistakes are made on physician-patients and normal' patients alike, and it is a wonder that anyone is a good patient.' Being a physician-patient is no protection against medical mistakes, in fact you have less ability to stand up for yourself before the threats start, and more to lose.

In Ohio we have a Medical Board with criteria for physician 'impairment' that includes disagreeing with Dr. Timothy Nice of Mayfield Heights, Ohio - who most of Hillcrest Hospital, and all of Geauga Community Hospital administration, have had to disagree with at least some of the time - Geauga Hospital took Dr. Nice off their active staff in 1990 or before - they couldn't deal with him or his demands. The Ohio State Medical Board has yet to realize the problem in 2009 (20 years to get the message in the bottle).

Ohio physicians have to carry malpractice against the current State Medical Board of Ohio, and this also gets translated into hospital costs being higher in Ohio - and hospital taxes on top of this will make the costs prohibitive = hospital employment & jobs will be cut in major numbers. Ohio has no other industry except health care under Governor Strickland and Speaker Budish - health care and the legal system that it supports & nurtures with literally 'crazy' laws about 'confidentiality.' Everything is 'confidential' in Ohio -including where the money ($) goes.

There needs to be accountability & transparency at the State Medical Board of Ohio before any corporate raiding of state funds or more taxes (half or whole versions) Speaker Budish should know this and that his halving measure is quite a 'joke' for any physician who has had to ever deal with the dysfunctional State Medical Board of Ohio the budget, costs/case, reasons for investigation of objecting physicians, etc. needs to be outted in Ohio; what's in the closet Speaker Budish? Where is all the money going in Ohio?

There should be no half measure of taxes, just accountability and some Ohio Administrative Board 'tightening of the belt.' Even the person in charge of the Lottery Commission is a relative of Governor Strickland - that's nepotism - but it's tolerated in Ohio where there's worse at the State Medical Board. How much worse?

Governor Strickland wants a 'health care tax' to fund the false cases, suspensions & disciplines at the State Medical Board of Ohio - money he would account for

AUTHOR: Rita - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 26, 2009

The health care tax is for the state budget - when Governor Stickland won't give an accounting of how money is spent at the State Medical Board of Ohio. Governor Strickland apparently doesn't know that cases are carried on for 17 years for the physician being a 'bad patient' and not agreeing to admittedly 'bad' care. There's no bookkeeping, no laws, no oversight.

The State Medical Board publishes complete rot about physicians with no patient complaints on the website - information that the Ohio Court of Appeals has thrown out decades ago for no evidence, information that a physician is 'angry' because of care that no one should have to endure being a 'personality problem.' It's not my 'personality problem' to stand up for standards of care - that is my job - it's not an anger management problem - when a patient is in trouble (even me) - I'm allowed to say something based on my degree, and even if there is no money for the malpractice done to a physician-patient - the faults/mistakes need to be outted and stopped.

The 'anger' is that Dr. Nice to this day continues bad care, to attempt care after drinking and admittedly 'partying all night,' and to run away from his mistakes and expect the State Medical Board & Hillcrest to deal with it. Dr. Nice, and Dr. Michael Keith, are immature monsters - physicians that the Ohio Court of Appeals couldn't fault as they couldn't get the records.

My case, and other false ones, at the State Medical Board of Ohio need to be over - and no more taxes should be allowed until there are some budget cuts in Columbus at State Administrative Boards doing decades of fraud and false investigations. Governor Strickland is a psychologist who allows every abuse of psychiatry & psychology in the book by the State Medical Board of Ohio, and some new abuses never thought of at any other State Medical Board, to be practiced by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Governor Sticland should do some work instead of coming up with a 'heath care tax' for his problems.

Transparency & accountability need to be at the State Medical Board of Ohio before taxation of the health care industry; Mr. Whitehouse is running a 'whorehouse' = male physicians get out of bad care by saying that the woman patient was 'seductive'

AUTHOR: Rita - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 23, 2009

There's every excuse for bad medical care in Ohio tolerated by Mr. Rick Whitehouse in Columbus under Governor Strickland - including the Ohio Board allowing that the male physician can get out of accountability by saying that the double-wrist fractured woman-physician was 'seductive' or 'just crazy' for not liking 'experimental' casts and bizarre comments about the sex life of the physician(s) - the 'understanding' that the woman physician was supposed to have for the male physicians. Governor Strickland is running a cabaret in Columbus - where anything goes for the guys; partying, sex on the side, fractures casted after days of partying. . .

No one is seductive with two swollen deformed wrists - you can't apply the glamliner, or even comb your hair, and your mother is driving you around. When women physicians complain, the complaint should be fixed and the care improved, not their medical license taken for not 'going along with the boys.'

Counseling doesn't improve tolerance to abuse, harassment, being beaten up, or being miscasted and lied about. Opening 'confidential' files of this rot is the first step in accountability - what is really going on in Columbus that's eating the budget? Governor Strickland thinks that the taxpayer should be accountable, not his oversight or lack of 'sight.'

'Taxation without representation' is what physicians have in Ohio - the Medical Board does nothing about bad care & bad physicians, and Governor Strickland only wants to tax the bad care - the Dr. Nices & Keiths who cause so many complications that patients are healing from wrist fractures for years = lots to tax but none of it legit.

Taxing the mistakes in Ohio medical care is what Governor Strickland is doing instead of improving the care and the mistakes. Taking physician licenses for objecting to the 'games' is not ok. Armond Budish just let the Strickland agenda go without addressing the problems = bad government, no oversight, huge waste of lives, careers, and money. Life is a cabaret in Ohio.

Before even a half-hospital tax, Speaker Budish needs to 'give back' some protections to physicians from the State Medical Board of Ohio: open files for complaints, accountability, protections against licenses being taken for objecting to the wrong care

AUTHOR: Rita - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 23, 2009

Speaker Budish & Governor Strickland want the medical community to keep giving, from new taxes to the health care industry, half or whole version this budget, without offering anything in return - even more long overdue protections for physicians at the State Medical Board level - protections from false accusations, false suspensions & disciplines, and having 'open' physician files so that all can comment and testify on any investigations - to keep physician malpractice insurances with a 'lid on' in Ohio - to keep disciplines 'fair' and under some kind of point system - like in every other state - to allow all the facts instead of talking-head proceedings.

This fair return wouldn't cost Strickland and Budish anything to institute - just some ethical thought - but would level the growth of false physician suspensions & disciplines in Ohio = long overdue. Ohio leads the nation in false physician investigations, suspensions and disciplines - no debate there.

So in Ohio physicians have to deal with literally limitless physician malpractice insurance (protection against patients, colleagues & the Medical Board), endless false disciplines and investigations, and more taxes than anyone can support - because there is no other 'growth' industry in Ohio as everything at the State Medical Board is 'confidential' - but only for those physicians signaled out to be screwed.

The Cleveland Clinic is outting out of this Ohio 'mish-mash' by moving slowly to Florida - and having more 'research' in Ohio - where the elderly really can influence health care policies, protections for their physicians (so they are still in their offices tomorrow), and taxes. Mr. Budish supports 'confidential' even for prophylactic suspensions for a physician objecting to the wrong care of themselves = Ohio has a bad physician patient 'impairment' - when you don't go along with endless pointless surgeries of yourself, no blood work, casts without padding or x-rays and colleagues who party every other weeknight then come down off the alcohol the next day only to go at it the following one again = orthopedics in Ohio who are sober most weeknights are scarce. Members of the State Medical Board who are sober during their 2 meeting days per month are rare.

In Ohio physicians have to carry malpractice protections against their own State Medical Board, and can't get their files for any investigation so as to answer the accusations. Physicians, or people that have some other information, can't come forward to straighten out the problems for decades while Mr. Budish and his firm do very well selling that this improves health care for the elderly in Beachwood?

Physician complaints at the State Medical Board of procrastination, where the Members can't read or think, commonly go on for 5-10 years or more -fueling physician malpractice costs to the max in Ohio. And currently there's a 'confidential' law about physician complaints which is broken regularly for the 'friend's of Medical Board Members - these physicians go around telling other physicians that they can get their files at the State Medical Board of Ohio and can do whatever care they please to patients - how is that largesse improving health care quality and standards when the 'right' few get to do the sloppiest care in the nation - 'protected' by the State Medical Board of Ohio? So why not have a law that is fair to everyone - not just the 'ol' boys' - that is just 'fair trade' for more health care taxes.
