This same scam that reported here happened to me. I found an advertisement for Grant Funding on-line. The add said the CD was free and all I had to pay was $1.98 for shipping. Then about a week or so later I noticed that my account had been debited for $69.95.
I had no clue what it was for so I called the company and they REFUSED to refund the money and I was told that I should have read the fine print. Not sure where the fine print was located, because I spoke to one of their scammers on the phone and he didn't say anything about a supposed 7 day trial or a fee of $69.95.
The company told me that I was passed my 7 day trial and that I was not elegible for a refund. I asked to speak with a manager and there wasn't one on duty, so they said. I asked them to have a manager call me at work and instead the same girl I spoke with called my cell phone and left a message saying that I was NOT elegible for the refund.
These people are hateful and they need to be stopped! I have never had something like this happen to me before. Oh yeah I was also told that I would receive a $70 gas card in the mail. Never saw that either? I just want my money back. $69.95 is alot of money for me and this company is making money off woman at our expense.

You DID agree to those charges when you signed up for the trial. ALL of those trials state in their Terms & Conditions that you agree to either cancel your trial within X days or pay the monthly membership fees. Every trial like this that I have seen has a box you must check that states you have READ and AGREE to those terms.
You were NOT ripped off you just did not read what you were agreeing to. Next time, please PAY ATTENTION before giving out your credit card number and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for YOUR actions if you do not.
NO I do not work for any of these companies but I have completed many trial offers through them and they pretty much all work the same.
