Grant Funding Source They made a cold call to me and I agreed to review their grant funding CD, since I just started college. They said it would cost $4.87 S&H charges, so I gave them my debit card number to cover these c Internet

In Sept. 2009 I received a cold call from a Grant Funding Source rep and since I was just starting college finances was a major issue for me. She talked me into signing up for a free demo CD of their program, If I would pay $4.87 in S&H charges. I agreed and gave her my debit card number, what a dummy I was giving her a key to my bank account!!

I received the CD and it didn't look like anything I wanted to continue with, so I tried to call them and cancel any further relationship with them. I couldn't get through to a real person so I gave up nor did I have an address for them.

I noticed on my next few bank statements that they started to debit my account every 15 days for $38.90 and then $49.95 alternating the amounts every 15 days. For a total of $321.37 at which time I canceled my debit card; in order, to stop the unauthorized withdrawals from my tiny bank account!!

I am filing a police report and fraud reports with my bank. Hopefully we will be able to locate a real person and try to get the $321.37 of unauthorized withdrawals returned.
