I get a lot of emails offering government grants, but I'm not interested, so I always delete them - most of the time without even reading them. Therefore I have no idea where Grant Masters got my account information. I never heard of Grant Masters until I saw their debit from my account. I called the phone # listed for them by my bank and spoke with some guy who spoke very poor English (don't know what country he was in but don't think it was USA). He advised me he handles customer service for Grant Masters and he agreed to refund me the $38.84 and gave me a cancellation number. We'll see if the money is actually refunded.

When I asked him what is "Grant Masters"? He told me it is a "online business" and his English was so poor I did not really understand very much he said. I had a difficult time finding a website for GRANT MASTERS, but there were plenty of Grant Master sites. I finally found the following webpage listing using the bing search engine:

"GRANT MASTERS WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION . P rofessional grant writing services for . non-profit organizations and businesses. Grant Masters does not offer instructional programs grantmasters.net Cached page"

This website is a total scam. The Cached page said the crawler last visited it on 3/31/09 and to contact: moregrants@earthlink.net I'm still puzzled how they got my account info. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me (1st time was a different company) so glad I found Ripoff Report to expose these thieves.

I get a lot of emails every day from the UK and Nigeria and stories asking for my help, also online lotteries and even the FBI. Offering me millions of dollars to "work" with them or help them get money out of their country. I know these are illegal scams and I don't respond, but how do I stop them?
