Great Expectation is more about what they expect,.... they expect to take your money. The service they offer is not what you get. They said that "you're busy w/ life and work, let us make it easier on you. Let us get you an opportunity to meet people" I can honestly say I have not met one person from this crappy web site! I'm wondering if any of these profiles are real to begin w/ or if they're people that no longer need the site, that are married or in relationships. There's no accountability. I feel abused and neglected. Not one person has called or contacted me in anyway to check on my status or my satisfaction w/ their service. But someone called because I was late on a payment. I asked that person what I should do if I was so unhappy w/ the service. She told me that I "could pay a lump sum for a lesser amount." Why do I want to keep paying for something that does me no good? Or something that takes away from spending that money on something that matters,.... like a date w/ a real person.

I had it,

Trying to get my money back as well

AUTHOR: Ricardo - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 05, 2011

Hi,

I had the same bad experience, I think I let this people take my money around the same time you did. I was going through a very rough personal situation and I was in search for some help on my social life. Back then I was new to the City of Atlanta and I thought...., well after all they offer me the chance to meet people and find real dates for me.

After a couple of years, my situation has changed considerably and I wonder what would it be if I try to get straight with this people and ask for my money back. I have been supposedly member of this "Dating Service" for around 2 years now and I haven't got anything at all from this place. The few people I tried to contact never answer to me and every time I tried to contact the staff at this place I always got the answering machine, also the several times I asked for my money back through e-mail I never got anybody to answer to my complaints... After a while sadly I just gave up.

Please let me know how your claim went. Did you get any refund or something similar from this. Maybe if you got a positive outcome, I might be able to do something about it and get all or maybe some of the 2000 dollars they stole from me.

I appreciate your feedback, thanks

Ricardo

Hi Justenough. The profiles are real people, but most of those people haven't used the site in months, maybe even years.  I had the same exact experience with Great Expectations and we were probably worked over by the same sales guy. You don't have to just sit there and take it. I sure am not.

I'm about to sue in small claims court to get out of the contract based on being lied to just like you were. You can do the same, for about 50 bucks and we could show up at eachother's hearings and tell what happened.

If you're interested in getting back at them with me, post a reply and let's figure out how to get in contact with eachother.
