Green Dot Moneypak Card to refill prepaid CC Memphis, Tennessee

I am in a similar situation and have been trying to reach a resolution with Green Dot Corporation for 5 weeks. I have a very simple statement to make. The instructions to "treat your moneypak like cash" are laughable to say the least. People can't steal your cash simply by looking at a receipt that states the amount of cash you have. Why don't you inform consumers of your product that their funds can be drained from the Moneypaks with a receipt? You inform consumers that they should keep their Moneypak safe and treat it like cash, in other words, don't lose it. You inform consumers that Green Dot Corporation is not liable for non delivery of goods. You inform consumers to beware of scammers and not to give out their pin numbers. Why don't you inform consumers that their funds, which are placed in your care, for a fee, can be transferred with a simple receipt and that the physical Moneypak is completely unnecessary. It is common knowledge to scammers, yet you don't protect your customers by providing that information to them.

We will assist in cases of potential fraud and will do our best to recover funds if possible. Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee a refund of a MoneyPak that has been provided to a private party.
