Greenlight Auto Sales ripoff Canoga Park California

My son and I purchased a 1997 Dodge Dakota truck in December 2005. After leaving the lot we discovered many items to be repaired. No heat, the transmission was sticking, belt needed to be replaced, glove box wouldn't open, brake light out. I called the next day and they gave me a hard time about repairing. Finally the owner agreed. At the time of purchase they agreed to hold a check for $3000 until Jan. 5, 2006. Within a week they had cashed both the deposit of $500 and the $3000 check! Then 2 weeks later we had to do an entire brake job plus back springs. Two weeks ago my son had to swerve to avoid hitting a car that braked in front of him. His truck stalled out and he hit the rail on the canyon road causing $5700 in damage. The car is blue book valued at $7500 so it is a total loss for us. I now have lost $3500 plus the brake job expense and my son has no vehicle. I don't believe this truck should have been up for sale. It was in poor condition and my son could have lost his life on the canyon road. Buyers Beware!
