Greentree - Conseco Finance ripoff Diluth Georgia

we took over payments on this land and home that is financed through Conseco/Greentree Finance.

The problem is they never put the deed/taxes in our name all that is in our name is the payments. After 4 year. We kept our payments up and was doing fine with the payments.

But when conseco went bankrupt and greentree took it over they called to inform us that for us to be able to stay in the house we would have to pay them 2200 dollars and that money is what the previous owner was behind which is in the closing papers was put at the end of the term. Green tree tried to say that it was Consecos mess up they were suppose to have made me pay that with my closing.

my taxes however was something else. How I paid my taxes I used a tax id number that the previous owner gave me. I thought that was rather strange. I called the tax office here in my home town and they said that the deed and taxes was not in my name they are still in the previous owners name.

We have made several attempts for green tree to make this correct on there part. The lawyer they had for us in closing was suppose to have file them that day of the closing which he didnt.
