I originally received an unsolicited email from them offering me a job for "Clerical bank drafting $1,054/Wk Guaranteed! M-F 35/hr wk" processing bank drafts. I called the number, after discussing this with my husband and got an answering machine stating that if I were calling in response to their help wanted ad I was to leave my name and phone number. Since this was Sunday I figured this was a legitimate request. A fellow by the name of "Mike" called me back almost immediately. He processed an e-check for me which I authorized only for the initial 24.77 they asked for. I repeatedly told him it was for that amount only and he replied that the remaining 25 dollars wasn't due until 30 days after I had received my materials.

I suppose the first warning sign should have been when they put through the full amount on my checking account, instead of the initial 24.77 which is all I authorized. Then we got the CD and piece of paper, stating the thirty days expired the minute you opened the envelope. I don't know what was on the CD because my husband looked at it, but the piece of paper told us to put an ad in the newspaper offering valuable information for whatever price we decided on, telling anyone interested to send the money and a self addressed stamped envelope. Guess what! Those are the envelopes you get to stuff.

All in all this is a very bad deal for anyone who wants to earn money at home. Since we were not happy with this deal we immediately began trying to get our money back, as per their guarantee in the email. We first tried sending email, as the instructions that came with our package stated, but never got an answer. We also sent a letter to them via certified mail but they never picked it up. Then my husband contacted the BBB of Florida but they said Gregory Bryant and Associates would not respond to their inquiries. Then we sent the complaint to the Postal Inspector, and it is still unresolved at this point.

Before you do anything with this company... STOP and go buy yourself something nice with the money. It will be better spent that way. I saw a rebuttal from Mr. Gregory Bryant in which he states the person making the complaint hasn't responded to him. Frankly I don't believe this because we have not heard one single thing from Mr. Bryant about our complaint. I have the documentation to back up my complaint and will gladly provide it to anyone who can help me. Thank you for a fine service and I hope it helps others.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

Gregory Bryant & Associates Mail Fraud

AUTHOR: Margaret - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 14, 2004

It is amazing that someone that claims to run an honest business would spew so many lies that are easily proven to be total lies.

Mr Bryant CLAIMS to have a good report with the BBB that covers Jacksonville Fl. All anyone has to do is look at the BBB website for the Jacksonville Fl area and they can see for themselves that Gregory Bryant & Associates has an UNFAVORABLE reputation with the BBB.

Mr Bryant CLAIMS that we did not return their CD, and that is all you get with the program is a CD of material that you are supposed to advertise for people to send you a self-addressed stamped envelope with a fee of your choosing and then you send them information. This in no way compares to the original advertisement that Gregory Bryant & Associates sends out. The original email is too long to include here but I am sure many people checking this site have seen it. There is a section in it that CLAIMS you will only be charged shipping and handleing at first and then ONLY if you stay in the program over 30 days would the second charge be made. Instead they charge the full amount up front. I have no problem paying for a product IF I get what was advertised, that is not the case with this scam.

If we never sent the material back, then Mr Bryant, explain away the returned mail that was sent to you certified.

I see from your rebuttal that you list Boston MA as your address now, get a bit hot for your scam in Florida? Don't count on Boston being a lot more hospitable while you continue to run this scam.

FALSE STATEMENT

AUTHOR: Gregory Bryant & Associates - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 13, 2004

Hello,

We have been monitoring and made aware of these FALSE statement from previous customers who apprently intended to get something without fully paying for the product. Gregory Bryant & Associates, Inc. will always remain A Legiitimate Company with very happy and satisfied clients and customers and we strive to do our best to please our customers as well as clients.

It was brought to our attention AGAIN TODAY by one of our many existing Clients located in the 505 area code reguarding this post By Margret Bennet - Gerald Bennet located in Grand Island NY.

If our corporation was doing anything wrong we would not have as many satisfied clients & customers who continue to use our products and services on a DAILY & monthly basis.

Not one time has she or any other stated that our company dd not deliver the products or services and strongly stand behind it.

She stated that she was billed for the product she purchased in full and stated that she did not want to pay in full. This is a normal business practice to nearly every business that exist. When you buy something you pay for it in Full.

Our method of payment is standard for products & services we offer. Why should we change the way customers & clients pay for products and services we offer, when all of our clients & customers
have no problem paying in full and clearly understand that payment for product(s) and or services we offer are upfont payments.
(i.e When you by anything from any store you pay in full or you can't get the product.)

She also stated that she sent the product back. We have NEVER received any mail from her according to the shipping & receiving department that handles the returns of any product.

Their is NO record of ever receiving the product back.

We respond to ALL request so there is no way this would have not been responded to. She was also well over her 30 day expired trial of the product and according to our electonic anti-theft feature in her product. It shows that she violiated that
feature and it reports back to our department shown as tampered.
So there is no refund for her.

This clearly is a violation and misunderstanding from this customers who apparently tried to get product without pay for it. Our company has policies we have to follow and our suppliers
of our products require certain standards as well.

We have been contacted by the BBB reguarding this matter and we have responded accordingly as well as the postal inspector nor did we have any problem RESPONDING to this letter.

Thank you,

President

Help for Margaret ..someone needs to put a stop to them!!

AUTHOR: Mrs. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 13, 2004

My husband and I called Thomas and Mike at Answer Service, the company they claim to work for and claim only to be contracted by Gregory Bryant & Associates, nearly daily. We also faxed their company and emailed their company nealy daily. If nothing else, it gives the authorities evidence of your effots to correct the situation, and their complete lack of response. In addition, I would recommend filing complaints with the IFCC, FTC, National Fraud Center, City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville Sheriff's Department and the Attorney General's Office. Most of those entities have websites. The amount of work my husband and I put in to getting our funds returned was completely out of line in comparison to what was originally stolen by Gregory Bryant & Assoicates. However, the bottom line is that it's not their money and someone needs to put a stop to them!! Good luck!!

total rip off artists, frauds, thieves, you name it

AUTHOR: Margaret - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 29, 2004

Today we received a response from the BBB from Gregory Bryant and Associates. They sent a copy of the letter he sent to them. In his letter he stated that he had never received anything in the mail from us, period. Guess what? That's because he didn't bother to pick up the Certified Letter we sent! It went unclaimed until the Post Office sent it back to us. Then he went on to say that the thirty days were up and we are not owed a refund. Nice guy!

Whatever you do, research very carefully anytime you are thinking about taking up an offer for this sort of employment from home. After our experiences with Gregory Bryant and Associates, we were sent another similar offer that sounded totally sincere... even to the point they directly said this is what you get from us, etc. Upon researching the company on this website we found out they are of the same ilk as Gregory Bryant and Associates - total rip off artists, frauds, thieves, you name it. Wish us luck in our efforts to get out monies back from GB and Associates. I do the same for anyone else who's been stolen from by them.
