During this trip and speaking with her on her cell phone, I heard three separate drivers yelling, screaming and berating passengers like they were children.
After getting tired of the trip in OKC because of screaming children and bus drivers who repeatedly scream at passengers during the trip, missed yet another bus to Phoenix. She was rerouted through TX to get to AZ. A this time four other passengers got off the bus ahead of their destination stating that they were going to find alternative means fo getting to where they were headed as they could not longer take the negative attitude of the drivers that they had experienced thus far.
Her bus was late leaving FW/Dallas, (positive note here, this bus driver was civil, used the PA system on the bus to give instructions to passengers and did not yell at them) while in El Paso, the bus she was supposed to get on was over booked and she and about 35 other passengers were not given any instructions but told to go inside and wait until they were called. They learned that another bus was being made ready for them, this is well after their first bus was already late.
More than two hours after departure time they were finally allowed to board a run down bus for Phoenix.
A trip from WI to AZ that was supposed to take only 51 hours became a horrific journey that lasted over 65 hours.
Apparently Greyhound no longer hires professional drivers and has resorted to going to the bottom of the bad apple barrel to scrap the leavings on the bottom to use to scare passengers into finding other ways to move across the US. The once proud fleet of professional drivers has left Greyhound and maybe this is way we no longer see television advertisements that say "... and leave the driving to us."
It appears that with the rising cost of fuel, more and more people are having to rely on bus lines to move them around our nation, that being said one would think that the people who make important decisions for Greyhound would want to grab every passenger possible instead of running them off with lousy service, poor bus maintenance, poor station repair, lousy public address systems in their terminals, stations and on their buses.
If there is anyone who is placing a class action suit against Greyhound Bus lines please get in touch with me.
Thanks,

Class Action?

You have been watching too many tv court shows. Because if you knew what went into a Class Action Lawsuit you wouldn't make a statement that naive.
But getting past that what would you file a Class Action Lawsuit for? Being Rude?
Seriously if that was valid grounds for a Class Action Lawsuit there would probably be a suit against every company at one time or another.
She paid for a ticket to get her from Point A to Point B..they did that. Was it her original "schedule"..No. But just like being rude that is not grounds for any type of suit.
From the beginning when she missed the bus because of the broken PA. She knew what time it was leaving right? Did it occur to her to actually ask one of the people at the station where she needs to go? Obviously unless she got there right when the bus was leaving she should have realized that she couldn't understand the PA well before she was scheduled to leave.
In reality Greyhound is the "Dollar Store" of the travel industry. As such you attract a certain group of people with the same "Dollar Store" attitude. Just compare a "Dollar Store" with even a regular "Discount/Big Box Store" and you can see what I mean.
I am not justifying the drivers attitudes. But since you were not there, and even the one who was the passenger may not know the entire situation. So it is impossible for you to know if the driver(s) had at least some justification.
Now, the one thing I noticed is that you didn't write a report on another group of passengers, who probably hold as much responsibility. How about the parents of the kids that were acting up? How come they didn't control their kids?
