Guardsman Protection Plan SCAM! Do not waste your money! Grand Rapids Nationwide

I discovered a tear on one my sofa cushions and decided to file a claim with the Guardsman Warranty I purchased with my furniture. I followed all of the requirements, jumped through all of the hoops, did the hokey pokey and turned myself around, took several pictures, filed a claim on line, printed and signed the required documents and mailed it to the company. blah blah blah

DENIED! We were told that they would not cover rips on seams, any damage more 5 days old, and, even though I purchased a 5 year plan, they said they would only cover the furniture for two years.

This was a complete rip off and a huge waste of money. I will also complain to the Better Business Bureau but I'm sure that won't help either. If I can save one person from wasting their money then it will be worth it. 

SCAM! RIP OFF! If I worked there I would be embarrassed to tell people. They should be ashamed of themselves.
