You Are Still Way Off Base!

AUTHOR: nunn - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 23, 2013

A company or individual has to PAY to be a member of the BBB.  If someone complains to the BBB about a business, BBB will publish the complaint, and then the business has to pay to file a rebuttal or have an untrue allegation removed.  The BBB ratings mean nothing to anyone who knows how it works.

I don't care how Steve spends his money; everyone has hobbies.  Are you envious that his hobby is very expensive?  Envy is an ugly emotion.

There are many thousands of people who use Gunbroker every day, without problems.  Every once in a while, someone like you, who will not be satisfied, comes along.  You seem to be one of those who is never wrong.  Everyone else is at fault, but not you.  You seem to be a professional victim.

If you had your account cancelled, then you were wrong about something, purely and simply.

I believe in the toothfairy also

There is absolutely no support offered on the gunbroker.com site.

I also had used them for years, with hundreds of transactions.

When I eventually had issues requiring support, they did absolutely nothing, and in fact, they never do actually address anyone's concerns.

Words that stroke you, are not actions that fix anything.

When I did have issues, and was getting fed up with their inaction, they cancelled my account...end of the problem...at least from their perspective.

If you never experienced problems with gunbroker.com support, then either you never had any real issues to begin with, or you are a thinly disguised Gunbroker.com shill.

No one is on that site for years without some sort of irreconcilable issues, and while customer support will tell you what ever it is you wish to hear, they do nothing...absolutely nothing...ever.

Read what the Better business Bureau for Kennesaw, Georgia has on file...and learn the truth.

It says it all, that Gunbroker.com is not a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Steve Urvan has much better things to do...with his gold plated lifestyle...including his NASCAR activities...than to deal with any issues that GunBroker.com members have.

He simply does not give a Sh__...not remotely.

He is in his ivory tower...far atop olympus...and really does not remotely care about any such mundane endeavors.

Dealing with the riff-raff public, is way too far below him.

I am quite skeptical that you are for real...as it simply doe not fit my reality.

You saying it is so, does not make it so, and from personal experience, I do know better.

You Still Have Not Contacted Support

AUTHOR: nunn - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 23, 2013

Apparently, anyway.  You stated you sent a fax, and a letter.  Pretty neat trick, since there is no fax number.  You never did state that you used the HELP link to contact Support.  If you do, you will receive an answer by email.  You probably won't though.  You seem to be more satisfied just bitching and unjustifiably maligning a great sales site.  I use Gunbroker all the time, and have since it was new.  I make good money from it, and have sold literally THOUSANDS of items without an unresolved problem.  If I have a problem, I contact Support through the link, and have an answer within a few days.  It's really easy, and I am no computer whiz.

Gunbroer.com customer Service is nonexistent

AUTHOR: VeryUnhappyWithThem - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 23, 2013

If the truth be told, there is no customer service on Gunbroker.com, and you are on your own.

They tell you what you wish to hear, but do absolutely nothing.

If you complain too loudly, they delete your account...end of the story.

Their customer service is also the final arbiter, as there is no one you can contact to correct abuses by customer service.

I am sorry, but customer service is virtually useless on this website, and though they frequently respond that they are doing something to correct a situation, they never do one thing to help anyone.

All they are ever doing is stroking you...never actually helping you.

They tell you they are rectifying the situation, but in the end, they never do one lousy thing.

Did you contact Support?

AUTHOR: nunn - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 31, 2012

Somehow, I don't think so.  Gunbroker does not handle support issues by phone.  There is a Support mechanism in place, and it works.  The HELP link is at the top of every page.  If you have a problem, submit a Support issue.  Your problem will be fixed, or at least you will have a reply, within 48 hours.

Seems to me you didn't give Gunbroker a chance, gave up, and started slinging mud.  I have been a buyer and seller on Gunbroker since 1999, and have never had a problem that was not resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

My user name on Gunbroker is nunn.  Look me up.

Don't waste your time with Gunbroker.com

AUTHOR: Ann V - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, July 07, 2012

They charged me for services they didn't deliver.  They never posted my add but charged me $3.00 and when I tried to get in touch with them to get my add on their website, I couldn't get a hold of them.  The fax didn't work so I had to mail them a letter.  They don't take calls, you have to fax or mail them.  When I finally did get in touch with them they told me the charges are non-refundable and didn't address my request to close my account and not charge me further.
