BE CAREFUL when you order from them!

I ordered Proactive & nowhere did I see that it was a "program" or "subscription." (If it's there, it's NOT prominent enough.) Less than a month after the initial order, I happened to be checking my credit card online & saw another charge from them. I immediately called the credit card company to dispute it, saying they'd billed me again although I'd only ordered once. The card company (perhaps because they've received many complaints about Guthy Renker/Proactive???) immediately credited my card.

When the 2nd box came I marked it "RETURN TO SENDER-DID NOT ORDER" & put it back in the mailbox. A few weeks later I got an invoice from them requesting payment; I don't know whether it was because they hadn't received it back, didn't process the return properly or they just wanted to get me to continue the program. Whatever the case, I ignored the invoice and haven't heard from them since.

I advise anyone to pay by check so they can't keep billing your card - unless you do want the program of course. If you use a credit card, handle it the way I did if they do it to you, too.

I know for a fact the way the program works. We send the 2nd shipment 30 days (if not a couple more) from the date it is shipped. I have seen many cases of people forgetting the date they ordered, and the product going out before 30 days after they believed the original order was placed. the reason you did get an invoice was because we had not recieved the product back. A return to sender can take 8 weeks for us to receive the product, because the post office treats the package as bulk mail. That means it all collects in your local post office until they have enough of it to send it all back at one time.

Pay attention to your credit card statements, as well as all literature sent with your original orders. If you do that, you should have no problems. If you see a new billing you are unsure of, call the # listed by the charge. If you do this the CSR that you call will be able to clear any confusion you have. If you are not satisfied in their explaination, ask to speak with a supervisor. I personally work on the vitapower/vitaclear/principals secret/comprehensive vitamin line, and get many calls daily from people that dont understand the billings, to which any of our representitives will be happy to assist you with.


Oh, and as a guideline, be nice to the customer service reps. we are not the ones that put in your original order, and it is rarely our fault when you receive more shipments. Occasionally we do make a mistake, but for the most part we strive for satisfaction.
