Guy Victor Guy Jay Jay Victor Fake Stories and Fake Investments -- Thief Rosedale New York

I am including my story here because it is unfortunate that Guy Victor is still ripping people off and getting away with it. I met him in the early 2000's. The abbreviated version is that he wanted to be my financial planner. At the time he was affiliated with Northwestern Mutual, where I actually already had a financial advisor. He tried and semi-successfully poached me from his colleague.

I trusted him because I met him at an alumni event, he is an Amherst graduate (or at least that is what he claims). He seemed to know what he was talking about. He invited me out to talk business, and I accepted. We developed a friendship, nothing romantic. He presented well, drove nice cars, dressed well and generally talked a good game. I signed up for the investment products he was selling. Some time after that he came to my office with a sob story about his parents losing their home. He needed $11,000 to avoid foreclosure.

He did not have access to his money right then so could not give it to his parents. He asked if I would loan it to him and he would pay me back as soon as he could access his funds. My fault for trusting this guy. I should have known he was unethical since he used my financial information to actually target me for this "loan". Needless to say many avoided phone calls later, a visit to his parent's home (confirming the foreclosure story was lie), I never got the money back. He is an awful person. It is shocking that more than a decade later he is still stealing from people and still apparently getting away with it.

This is to warn the public that if you come in contact with this person, avoid him at all cost. At minimum never give him any money.
