This Nissan dealership are Rip Offs! I went in to get a lease, I agreed to $279 a mth for (4) years... after receiving my 1st lease pymt... it was $379.00!!!! After contacting Singh, the loan office, he stated that due to my credit and not paying a security deposit, they had to increase my pymt. by $100 a month! Why would they let me drive this new car out of the parking lot knowing my credit, knowing I did not pay a security deposit; this all should've been mentioned BEFORE I got into my new car.

I contacted the Better business bureau, I made a complaint to the Nissan consumer affairs, etc. Now after talking about this to the dealership, I asked if they can work something out w/me so I can get into something more affordable without ruining my credit. This was (2) weeks ago and (2) pymts later of $379.00... They have NOT gotten back to me. This is not how a successful business should be run! I now have to go to another dealership in hopes they would help me out. I have left several messages at Habberstad and have gotten no c/b.

IMPOSSIBLE

AUTHOR: KENDRICK - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 02, 2004

You should be aware that raising your payment $100.00 is impossible without your signature on a new contract. Did you look at what you signed? Did you receive a copy of your contract at signing? If so what payment did your initial contract reflect? If you have never re-signed a contract then you need to request a copy of the contract from the bank. A payment can not just change after you sign a contract.

Either you signed for the payment to begin with or there has been fraud committed. If you did not sign for this payment then you need to contact an attorney. The only other option I could think of is if you signed a blank contract. If this is the case then you have learned a very valuable lesson.

If you signed for the payment to begin with then your stuck with it in all probability as leases are not set up to be traded easily. Please provide some more information and I will try to advise.
