On August 7th I got my haircut at this location. I started noticeing something appearing on my neck a few days later. I thought it was dry skin. I started applying lotion to the area, it wasnt working. Finally I went to my doctor and I have fungus on my neck from "dirty" clippers.

I have filed a complaint with the Licensed Barber Department. When I got to the store my stylist was on the phone took me to the chair and cut my hair with scissors. She then used clippers to do my neck hairline and that is where the fungus is growing. I tried to bring it to the attention of the corporate office and was promised that this would be resolved by Friday the 19th.

I didn't get called back because the employee that was suppose to return my call had a more important issue this was told to me by the owner John Langlois on the 22nd. He called back in reference to the fax I sent him on the 22nd letting him know I was going to contact the AG and the Health Board. He wanted to know what we could do to make this issue resolved.

At this point I felt that I had right as a consumer and they were violated due to their bad business practices. I advised John that I would seek legal representation and have them contact him. On the 23rd of August a Mr. Chet Sloan called to my place of business Harris and Dial PC and asked to speak to the person that represents me. I have never told him anyone represents me at my place of business. I explained to him that I haven't retained any as of yet. He said that I used their letter head with is misrepresentation, which is false.

I have not used any letterhead on any of my letters to them. They are trying to use bully tactics to solve their issue, when I am trying to practice my rights as a consumer and my right to freedom of speech. This isn't a bad hair cut or over booking I have a fungus the size of a silver dollar on the side of my neck and smaller dots around my hair line on my neck. Thanks for your time.

STALLING TACTICS

I asked for their insurance company's information and they keep stalling. They offered me 300 to go away. I added up the expenses it cost me after the hair cut and it came to 700. The cream I have to use cost 83 a tube, i need 3. And the owner doesnt care about our health or customer satisfaction. I will NEVER go to Hair Excitement agian. This is horrible. I am not trying to gain anything I just want to leave this situation without losing money.
