The original reporter is 100% correct. This is a scam company and is actually dissolved. They call you up telling you that they work for the rates department (very clever) and say that they are merely saving you money. I quesioned them and asked what they were selling, their reply ' we arent selling anything.' 

I then asked what their company name was, the sales caller replied 'business rates reductions,' i replied with the same question and eventually he gave me the name hammer properties. A quick search on the internet and, oh look, a number of bad reports. Once the sales caller knew i wasnt going to bite he became rude and blunt and quickly slammed the phone down.

I have since had 3 calls all from the same person, all ending in the same way. Dont trust them, just another company trying to pull the wool over your eyes. If they want your business they will work hard for it THEN get paid. Utter joke.

hey, dont know about your concern about hammer properties, but it gave me a reduction of about 27000pounds and also claimed me back 9000pounds for the past years. Initially i was in doubt but i am happy to deal with them. They also got reductions for my uncle's pet shop business for 16000pounds and claimed back 5500pound and 33000pounds for his snooker club and 12000pounds claimed him back for the snooker club. Hammer properties also refunded back my neighbours 100pound because he could nt get any reduction. 

i guess its one of the really best company otherwise others are just a scam. I had appealed with another company in 2007 and lost 1000pounds, and also lost 700pounds in 1011. But now i am happy that i used hammer properties for getting the reductions and claiming back the backdated money. Its worth paying 600pounds
