I purchased a 19' LCD monitor, from BUY.COM, the purchase price there was included a $100.00 rebate, reducing the purchase price by $100.00. After receiving the monitor I filled out the paper work for the rebates and mailed it in on 11/22/2006. After waiting 8 weeks I tried contacting Hannspree and they informed that I would get my money not to worry, but that I would need to contact the company handling the rebate which was Wintergreen systems. I checked on the web site to see what the status of the rebate and they had received it and it was waiting for additional funding. I could never talk to anyone at Wintergreen systems, but I did send an email many times and finally it came down to that they were waiting for additional funding from I guess Hannspree CA.
