 My issue is that HCTRA sent me to collections without sending me invoices which resulted in hundreds of dollars in fees.  First of all, I am not a toll violator.  However, looking at the time of night when the violations took place, I am thinking my step son must have been creeping in my car.  My issue is that while these tolls were racking up, HCTRA was not sending out toll invoices.  I would have addressed these issues then, but instead they send me to collections.  This collections agency informed me that I would have to request a hearing in order to dispute the cases at this point but they are unable to give me a court date at the time of the call, they would send out the hearing date later.  They never sent the notice notifying me of the hearing date, so I am now liable for additional charges for a failure to appear.  This is not fair and a conspiracy to conducted by these two MEGA organizations that is a sure win for them both and a total rip off tax payers because now if I don't pay, they can block my vehicle registration.
