HB Towing got me twice, yes twice. First time totally my fault i was in direct violation of complex rules, it sucked but was completely aware that it was a reaction to my violation. But this second one is quit the bizarre story.

Actually the story of the procedure that was explained to me was that in order for your car to be towed, you must first commit the infraction, which is parking illegally duh..... ok now your car must be spotted and identified by security because HB towing must be notified that the car is on the lot and is 'Parked illegally'. Once this is done security or employees of the establishment must fill out some sort of form indentifying the vehicle that is to be taken. Then this form is place on the car for the tow company to take pictures of from various angels (as it was explained to me). Next your car is mounted and hauled off to be taken to their storage. Were you must pay to get it out. OH and don't let it be the day before a holiday because you get charged for that day of storage just as an FYI. OK if your like me your thinking how long would it take them to do such a procedure????10 maybe 15min????

Lets try for 5 min in my case, no time at all, i could not believe it!!!! Even leaving my lights on as i deliver something to a friend. I could not believe that it happens. So i did what any violated citizen would do i called the POLICE i seen it happen in a movie once, someone had a problem and they call the POLICE they showed up did an investigation and got down to the root of the matter. I was meet with resistance on the phone told that it was a civil matter and that i shouldn't have the POLICE come there for that, so i insisted that they show for nothing else but to file a complaint. When the officer showed they gave me the run around and didn't even want to take a report WOW way to go. Before there arrival i was told that HB towing has a good relationship with the POLICE and that nothing would come of it. The officer didn't even look me in my eye like he heard it all before.

There is a legal loop hole here that is being exploited and to be honest its an unfair injustice that is being done, the conspiring of tow truck companies and complexes or there employees to prey on the visitors of renters is unchecked and completely unbalanced. I believe HB should be investigated and if they hold up through that then they should continue business as usual but i doubt that they would survive a closer look.
