HBG Publications ripoff Diamond Bar California

A friend of mine had given me an 800 number to call to request information from HBG Publications. The information came in the mail stating that after a submission of a $40 registration fee, HBG Publications would send you all the materials (envelopes and flyers) to mail out (with paid postage). As soon as the envelopes were sent out you would receive a check for appx. $600.00.

My friend actually did this and did receive the check for stuffing and mailing out all of these envelopes however when I sent out my $40.00 "registration" fee, all I received in return was more information stating that I would have to advertise to companies with my ideas and materials and after receiving letters of acceptance back from those companies, it would be THEN when I would receive money for each one.

This is not what I anticipated. Since then I have written then a letter demanding my $40.00 and have yet to see it.
