On June 10th, 2015 I placed an order with HD Projector World for 1 LCD projector. I received the projector two weeks later. The projector worked fine but did not meet my needs to I initiated a return.
I shipped the projector back to HD World, per thier instructions on July 7th using the RMA # BAS-7672 provided by HD Projector World. HD Projector World with tracking number LC(((redacted))). The projector was received on July 15th.
After hearing nothing from HD Projector World, I emailed them multiple times until I received a response on September 15th acknowledging receipt of my projector. After several more weeks and emails to HJD Projector World, I received conformation on October 5th that my return was satisfactory and they were processing my refund. HD Projector world claimed it would take 5--7 days for the refund to show on my credit card statement. Despite several more emails and calls to their number that was the last I have heard from HD Projector World.

James the owner just called me personally and refunded the full amount via PayPal! He was very apologetic about the issue. He personally gets 5 stars for customer service!

Avoid this company! They specialize in abusing their customers and have no shame in doing it. They should not be allowed to be in business.
I filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Mainland British Columbia (Case # 1276384). HD Project World finally responded stating that they would mail me a check for the entire amout of the purchase. HD Projector World stated they sent the check January 5th, 2016. As of February 13th, 2016 the check has not arrived and HD Projector World refuses to provide proof they actually sent it.
This company seems to only excel at lying! What dumbfounds me the most is the amount of time and effort (via responses to both me directly and the BBB) they have put in to their lies and deceit.
