Health Insurance Innovations Simply Health HEALTH INSURANCE SCAM, SCAM ARTISTS, THEIVES Tampa Florida

I was solicited for health insurance, due to the Jan. 15 Affordable Care deadline. I agreed to speak to an agent, "Michael D'Appio" , with Simply Health, who offered me a multiplan nationwide PPO for me and my daughter for $289.84 per month with a $155 activation fee that would guarantee the price would not go up. They assured me it met government requirements.

It seemed legit at the time, as I was thinking I was talking to an Affordable Care health insurance provider. I agreed to the policy, went through a very lengthy recording process where I was read details about the policy by an agent that barely spoke English and I was required to say 'yes' to statements. After the transaction was complete, I never received a confirmation email.

When I called to inquire, I was put on hold and given excuses. I called the agent again, and was given excuses and told I would receive everything in 7-10 days. I was not given a policy # or confirmation #.

I called Michael again in order to get more info from him, asked him his last name, and he said, "Oh this is getting serious. What? Are you going to report me or something?" He told me his last name was D'Appio, but would not provide an email address or physical address, but did direct me to https://www.hiiquote.com/ . No one answers the phone if I call the numbers. I have contacted my credit card to dispute the charge. I have continued to call the billing dept. number "Michael" gave me and am disconnected as soon as I identify myself. I have reported the incident to the isurance commissioner in my sate, but I am concerned that due to lack of real contact info, they will not be bought to justice. These people need to be located and shut down once and for all. How can we make this happen??
