Healthy Discount Card fraudulent charges to my credit card Nationwide

In Feb, 2006, on my credit card statement I noticed charges for 99.95 and 59.95 for a "Healthy discount card" phone number. I noted this again on the next month's card. I called the number, and got a foreign sounding man who told me that I have caused these charges by going onto a music site. I had gone onto a music site, but it was Yahoo,and that was paid for by my DEBIT card. When I got that difference thru to him, he had another hard to follow story. Suffice to say, after a bit of time on the phone, he said he would pass on the request to credit my account. This, of course, was not done. I called my credit card and immediately closed that account, and they will not charge me, but that is not all the point.

We called them yesterday, and got the run around about them being the "front help desk" and that there were no managers, supervisors, or anyone else there to help. I asked for a physical address for the business, and was told they were not authorized to release it, and that it was on the Web site.
Lot's of patient "maam's" and so on, they just go round and round. I did some searching on the internet, and found that I am not alone. I also found a web page that advertises for call center India, and talks specifically to the Healthy discount card as being one of the call center items.

This may be bogus, but I will be writing to it, I am also printing off all the complaints and will get them to the Attorny General of our state, and also contact the local news, they do warnings on frauds and schemes going on. I also found a item from the Sauk County, Wisconsin Sherriff's dept re a reported fraudulent charge by Healthy discounts card made by a citizen there.

Keep a daily eye on your accounts, I have been using the Internet for years and purchasing things, and never had trouble, it's too bad some crooks have to ruin it for us, and steal from us. I did accuse the man I was talking to of being in some apt somewhere ripping off people. He replied he was just the front help desk....yes,the front help themselves to my hard earned money desk!!
