I got my helio ocean in dec. My best friend was getting it and I thought I would get one too. After all he is the only person I spend hours at a time talking to and mobile to mobile was going to be unlimited. After 6 days I had decided I wasnt fully happy with the service. The phone was awesome but I was having problems with the service. But unfortunately I had been in az visiting family when I had gotten the phone and I was back in california.

So I called into the company and discontinued service over the phone. Since it was within their 30 day grace period I was supposed to get a refund for my $325 deposit. They said the check would come anywhere from 2-3 weeks. Whatever Im patient. Also I had to return the phone or I would incur a $200+ fee for keeping it. Whatever...so the next day I drove to another bigger city to return the phone to the helio kiask in the mall. Well here was the first problem apparently I had ordered from an authorized dealer and the only way to return it would be to send it down to az and hope it went all well. Or I could reconnect services and cancel my cancelation. I chose option B. Sounded more promising. So started the nightmare that was my January 2008. First they want me to repay the $325 deposit on my accnt. And then it should come back on without a glitch. (keep in mind this is after standing at the d**n kiask for 6 hours dealing with customer service) Then we find out a week later it doesnt work like that you cant reactivate a "device" that is already active. So I had to wait for the d**n thing to be canceled. It took 8 days for the stupid thing to stop working. Meanwhile Im waiting for the first check. Once it no longer had service my friend who worked for the kiask, called in to get it reactivated. They wanted a third deposit because the first one was being reimbursed in check form and the second one "never went through" I hope on the internet to check my bank accnt and yes indeedy it went through. So we get escalated and told that the second deposit is coming in the mail. Two checks totally over $600 will be in the mail with in 2-3 weeks. Cut to the end of January...I get a letter in the mail, actually its a bill stating that I have made no payments to my accnt but my accnt was credited $718.60. This months charges totalling 393.60 so I now have a credit to my accnt for next month totally $325.00.
WTF?!?!?!?!

So now i have this imaginery accnt with no phone service and no check ever coming in the mail. I dont think so. I am going to report them to the BBB. This is rediculous.
