helpsavemymortgage.com Dishonest Bait and Switch Providence Internet

In October of 2008 I was laid of from my job and stated to collect unemployment. Well about a month after,my bills started to fall behind and I wanted to make sure I would not lose my home. I searched the Internet for Loan Modification Companies and after reading a site called www.HELPSAVEMYMORTGAGE.com it seemed like they could really help me out! I had many questions and the girl I worked with was nice she told me they were 89% to 90% sure they could help me and if not : "I WOULD BE REFUNDED 100% OF MY MONEY" After hearing this and knowing my Mortgage rate would be increasing in January of 2009 I said yes and gathered up all my documents to send to them alone with a check for $ 995.00 to cover processing and fees related to the loan modification process. After my checked cleared in my account and two weeks went by I called for an up date. Well let the BS begin ...they needed up to date information from me. So as fast as I could I sent them everything they needed. This went on until January the 16th on a Friday, I called again to see were my file was. They gave me to Mr. Tedeschy a manager who said my Mortgage Company Countywide would not modify the terms of my loan due to the fact I was not 30 days in default. So I asked what should I do and he said do not make any more payments until I hear back from him, this will force my Mortgage Holder to modify the terms of the mortgage! Well after I hung up with Mr. Tedeschy I called my Mortgage Company Countrywide and spoke to Cheryl in the loan retention department. She went on to tell me that Countrywide did not receive any inquiries into my account for an modification and I could easily do this my self. After I told her my story and what I was told to do by helpsavemymortgage and Mr. Tedeschy she said she would look into the correct paper work to send to me ect: Letter of Hard Ship and Financial Statement and Tax Returns to start the Modification. Well to make a long story short I did the reduction of my terms with Countrywide Mortgage with no help from HELPSAVEMYMORTGAGE and I am still trying to get a refund from this company after SIX months yes six months now since the end of January till now still no refund, the last conversation with Carla and Mr Tedeschy the check was in the mail minus the $ 395.00 processing fee. I send them $ 995.00 and have not received any refund yet. Still waiting in New Hampshire and wondering how legit this company really is?
