Calling for a "free" HERO TAB sample on January 10, 2009 ended up costing me $213.45 US !! (And I'm Canadian, so convert that at 1.28 US/CDN, I paid $273 Canadian for this HERO TAB sample !!!)

Upon hearing on my favorite Toronto radio station, EDGE 102.1, countless times an ad for HERO TABS a natural "male sexual enhancer" (a natural Viagra?) there's a toll-free number to call to order your "free" sample.

I decided why not try HERO TABS and called the toll-free number for the sample, the operator / saleswoman told me all I had to pay was the $9.95 US shipping and handling, so I gave her my credit card number. Then she began telling me I'm enrolled in their "monthly club" and would be receiving additional HERO TABS every month. At that point I made it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR to the operator that NO, I DO NOT want or authorize any more HERO TABS other than the sample and under no circumstances did I want to see any further charges on my credit card other than the $9.95. And she agreed !!

Just as I thought the call was almost done, the operator then congratulated me on being able to receive as a bonus a membership in vacationsavers.ca and bargainlink.ca . I told her I had no interest in any clubs and did not want those either.

This phone call turned into a real abuse for my credit card. My sample of two little pills showed up a couple weeks later (end of January 2009), and my thought was I'm sure it couldn't have cost $9.95 to send those, oh well, a small rip-off.

Then about two weeks ago (mid February 2009) I got a slip from the post office that I had a parcel that needed signing for. I was curious to know what it was, since I wasn't expecting anything. And it turned out to be a box of 6 more HERO TAB dosages, and a packing slip I didn't fully understand. I checked my credit card statment online yesterday and could not believe that there was a charge of $59.95 US (76.23CDN) on January 31, and another charge of $59.90 (76.94CDN) on February 25, 2009.

I had been automatically enrolled in the HERO TABS program !!! Even after making it CRYSTAL CLEAR to the operator that I gave no permission to do so !! And to make matters worse, I somehow got signed up into a monthly subscription to the two "bonus" websites that I refused as well. There was a charge of $1.95 on January 12th, $19.95 on January 28th, and $19.95 on February 27th, and this was for only the bargainlink.ca website. Then there was a separate charge of $1.95, on Jan. 12th, $19.95 on Jan. 30th, and $19.95 on March 1st for the vacationsavers.ca website !!!!!

Wow, I cannot believe what a blatant scam this is. At least on my credit card statement the toll-free phone numbers to these "companies" is on it, so I was on the phone yesterday and spoke with the "customer service", gave them some s**t, and told them to cancel any subscription that I was unknowingly signed up for and I want a full refund on my credit card. The website company rep was a little cheeky with me, said he'll need 7-10 business days to review the "tape" (I guess they record the orders) and only if he sees that I didn't agree to the subscription would I be eligible for a refund.

Next I called HERO TABS, at least the phone rep was nicer, and told me to send back the package that showed up 2 weeks ago, but told me another one was just sent last week, but to refuse signing for it and it will be returned to HERO TABS. He said once they get back their product they will refund my credit card, and gave me his name and direct number so I can call to follow-up.

So this phone call for a "free" HERO TAB sample has turned out to be a real fiasco for my credit card, and leaves me doing the work to be eligible for refunds.

And for what it's worth, I did try the original HERO TAB sample that was sent, I took the two pills one evening with my girlfriend, and you know what, I didn't notice any extra "erectile" abilities or longer sexual performance or anything. Nothing that is claimed it is supposed to do. I'm 35 years old, and I'll admit I've taken Viagra several times, not because I need it but simply because I wanted to be a champ in bed on special occasions. Viagra works !! HERO TABS does not.

Hopefully I get my refunds, this was the first and the last time I'll ever order any "free" sample of anything.

The company should be called LOSER TABS.

These guys are impossible

AUTHOR: Stevie Blue - (Canada)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 23, 2012

I've been getting no where with "customer care" for nearly 2 weeks now. I first called on friday the 11th. I called again twice on Friday the 13th. The first call i was told a supervisor would be calling me shortly. The 2nd time I was hung up on without even discussing my issue. It's now Wednesday the 23rd and again I was told by "customer care" that they couldn't help me, it wasn't Advantis' fault or problem but a supervisor would call me if I wished. (SURE!) The fax number I was given doesn't work ("no answer" for 2 hours now) The email address on their website is "full" and bounces back without delivering. There is only one phone number to call, and the other number I found on their shipping invoice rings to the same line - not shipping?! Am I the only one who finds it odd that the ONLY number to this "reputable" company rings to "customer care" and you can't reach any managers on it?!

I'll be posting a report here on the website and will be calling the BBB.

If it's anything like your customer service I'll have to side with the customer. I've dealt with Advantis' customer service on a couple of occasions now and my issues weren't resolved either time. I've been a customer for several years and have spent thousands of dollars and my treatment was far from proper. It's not worth getting into the details, suffice to say it's cost you a long-standing customer.

Customer is Right!

It's been a while since my Hero Tabs ordeal, and I finally did get a refund from them a couple weeks after sending the unwanted products back (I never did get a refund from the website company though, it ended up becoming more time & trouble than it was worth). However, the rebuttal from the company saying they listened to the recording (well over a year later!) and I agreed to all products and services?? That's total b.s. of course a company would post a rebuttal like that. Nice try Hero Tabs.

And other point Hero Tabs, you're saying you need to take Hero Tabs daily in order to work?? Well holy crap that's going to be a pretty expensive vitamin ritual !! Hero Tabs aren't cheap !! Who wants to be paying almost $300 a month for a Hero Tabs "prescription"?! I'd sooner drop a Viagra once in a while when the occasion warrants it, heck a Viagra is only $10 and works!

And oh, I haven't heard ads on my radio station for Hero Tabs in months, hopefully they dropped them as a client cause they realized their listeners were being ripped-off by slippery high pressure call center reps.

The company should be called ZERO TABS.

Customer is wrong

We have listened to the customers recording.  He agreed to all purchases and offers.    Independent call centers take our orders and my offer may other products after the sale of our product.  Which happened in this case.  He agreed to all the offers clearly on the recording.

Further had he called the 800 customer service number 1 866 520 0522 and requested his monthly subscription be can celled it would have.  Anyone is welcome to call the number and see how easy it is to reach us.

In addition HeroTabs must be taken daily for results. No  natural herbal supplement will work exactly like a prescription drug.
