HFC - Household Finance ripoff victimized many consumers DON"T USE HFC BEWARE! SAVE YOUR FAMILY FROM HEARTACHE! Aurora Colorado

My husband and I refinanced a loan with Houseld Finance in May of 2000. Everything we were told at the refinancing was a lie. We were told we would pay 6% interest, when actually the interest is over 12%!! We were told there was no pre payment penalty, needless to say there is and it's six months of interest and it lasts for five years!

It is only due to the help of a community organization called ACORN, that we have recently been able to get our pre payment penalty reduced, and they helped us to get refunded for some phony life insurance that was sold to us without our knowledge, at the time of closing. I recommend that if you are in a Household loan that you contact your local ACORN office.

But nevertheless, we are still trapped in this horrible mortgage. HFC has caused great pain and heartache to my family. My husband and I are barely able to keep going. It's horrible that instead of being able to provide our children with the things they need, we instead are forced to give our money to this horrible company. Please, save your family the heartache and stay away from HFC!!
